The Senior Program Manager will be a key member of the CACG leadership team responsible for leading and executing a team on a large-scale DoD IT program. You will ensure all project objectives are achieved as defined by the project scope, cost, and schedule. This role may work across a wide variety of functional and technical areas/teams within DISA.  

  • SKILL LEVEL: 10+ years of experience leading and managing large IT programs within the DoD; must have extensive familiarity with technology assessments, systems design, systems analyses, acquisition planning, and supporting budget planning  
  • EDUCATION: Bachelor of Arts (BA)/Bachelor of Science (BS) in relevant area from an accredited university 
  • LOCATION: Onsite position in Arlington, Virginia 
  • CLEARANCE: Active Top Secret
 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Undertake leadership and oversight for the program execution of a large-scale IT program 

  • Serve as CACG’s primary interface within DISA to build and maintain customer relationships and assess competitor capabilities 

  • Manage all executional aspects of projects including timeline, deliverables, resources, and day-to-day project related activities; ensuring project success and timeline while adhering to project budget 

  • Develop and maintain project tracking reports and actively communicate project status across multiple forums and audiences by maintaining project management tools including project timeline, communication plan, dashboards, and internal reports 

  • Develop and manage regular reporting of KPI's, identify critical issues and underlying root causes 

  • Support the creation and execution of multi-year business development strategies 

  • Develop and execute strategic and tactical plans for the pursuit and successful capture of key opportunities by leveraging current technologies, customer expertise, and CACG offerings  
     

REQUIRED SKILLS: 

  • Project management certification to include Project Management Professional (PMP), PMP-Professional in Business Analysis (PBA), or any of the PMP specializations 

  • Able to communicate in both oral and written forms, demonstrating an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff as well as clients 

  • Familiar with Department of Defense security requirements as applied to their subject matter expertise.  

  • Experienced working in an Information Technology environment similar in size (or larger) and scope to this award 

  • Possesses strong working knowledge of large, complex Information Technology environments 

  • CompTIA Security+ Certification 

  • Ability to prioritize and work multiple requests coming down the pipeline 

  • High-energy leader who will drive performance and exhibit strong selling skills with a high level of emotional intelligence.  

  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the year 
     

PREFERRED SKILLS: 

  • Experience and understanding of multiple Cloud Computing Service Providers (ex. AWS, Azure, Google, Oracle) and their portfolio of service capabilities 

  • Understanding of FedRAMP and use of Cloud Computing Services within the Federal Government at varying Impact Levels 

  • Experience and understanding of a service catalog and product portfolio management 

  • Good understanding of DevOps and tools such as Puppet, Chef, Jira, Jira Service Desk, GitLab, Selenium, SonarQube, Check Mar 

  • Broad understanding of Cloud and Cloud API technologies 

  • Understanding of Identity and Access Management with some security, infrastructure, and network engineering and operations knowledge
